Millennium bim is now the only bank in Mozambique with interoperability with all mobile phone networks, after having closed a deal last week with TMcel's Carteira Móvel, which joined the agreements already established with Vodacom and Movitel.
Millennium bim customers can now make transfers of values between their bank and e-money accounts from any mobile phone network in the country. This is another very important step towards expanding the Bank's financial services and financial inclusion in Mozambique.
Millennium bim has prioritized investment in the development of its entire digital platform, in order to provide the best solutions to its customers. It was thanks to the capacity for innovation, translated into the launch of new digital products and services, that the Bank was able to respond quickly and effectively to the challenges imposed by the covid-19 pandemic.
In fact, the Bank has had a very significant growth in its digital customer base and transactions through platforms or applications such as Smart IZI; website functionalities and digital attendance with the MTOP offer. In 2021, there were more than 62% our customers who used Millennium bim's digital services each month, with a total of 160 million transactions carried out through digital channels, which is a good demonstration of the enormous popularity and adherence to our platforms.
