The Minister of Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries, Augusta Maíta, urges fish farmers in Manica province to increase their production, given the growing needs in the country.
Speaking in the Sussudenga district at the beginning of a working visit, the Minister referred that the sector is betting on fish farming given the importance of the protein that comes from production, in the country.
He also said that Mozambique has an annual production potential of 4 million tons of fish, two million of which in inland waters.
