Mozambique Stock Exchange (BVM) distinguishes the Absa Bank Mozambique as the Best Financial Intermediary in the listed securities market, having recorded the highest volume of stock exchange transactions during 2020.

Patrícia Darsam, product manager of Corporate and Investment Banking, said

Absa's award is the result of much effort, commitment and coordinated work to deliver excellent services and products to the market, and is directly linked to the trust and loyalty of our Customers and Partners. "It's one more reason for us to keep finding ways to make things happen," she said.

According to her, the award is a boost for the various strategic actions towards the inclusive and digital development of the national financial banking system that the bank has promoted while recognizing its contribution as a key player in the capital market and in the growth of BVM's activities.

This is the first distinction of Absa Bank Mozambique in this category.
