Deutsche Post DHL Group may hit a record high of more than 7.7 billion euros this year, according to an upward revision to operating profits, which are in line with the growth seen in the third quarter, in which the company "grew strongly."
A note from the group states that compared to the third quarter of last year, revenue alone increased by 23.5% to €20 billion.
The same document explains that this growth was driven by the upturn in business activities worldwide. And "this has led to a strong demand for logistics services and an increase in earnings.
However, "although physical trade has reopened, shipment volumes in digital trade have stabilized at a higher level," it reads.
In the third quarter, operating profit increased 28.61TP2Q year-on-year to €1.8 billion, while operating margin improved to 8.81TP2Q from 8.51TP2Q in the same period last year.
