Índico, the in-flight magazine of the national airline, Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM), was elected "Best In-flight Magazine in Africa" by the World Travel Awards 2021.
This is the second time in a row that Executive Mozambique's magazine has received the same annual honor.
LAM's General Manager, João Pó Jorge, was pleased that the magazine is so well appreciated by the company's passengers.
"We are delighted by this feedback to the work we have done to make the magazine always attractive. The recognition shows that the magazine is reaching more people who travel on our aircraft or visit our website where it is available," he said.
For Pó Jorge, the biggest challenge has been to make the magazine better and more competitive with each edition.
For Mia Temporário, General Director of Executive Mozambique, the award reflects the great work that has been developed over five years.
"It is gratifying to realize that the reading public is attentive and appreciates the essence of what we do to present the country as an enjoyable destination, through an exquisite work of factors that make the project unique," he said.
This award from the World Travel Awards earned Indico Magazine a nomination for the Global Award for the World's Leading Inflight Magazine 2021.
