Cabo Delgado Government seeks partners to increase fish production in captivity. The governor of Cabo Delgado who revealed the fact in an interview to Radio Mozambique said that the lack of feed and fingerlings is contributing to the decrease of fish farming in the province, at a time when Cabo Delgado is betting on fish production in tanks.

For Valige Tauabo, better days will come, judging by the efforts that the Executive Council is carrying out with partners in order to overcome the situation of the fish fry.

"We have visited some provinces that have some experience different from ours and we think that we can, yes, take that know how from those provinces to our province" he said.

The fish farming activity in Cabo Delgado is being encouraged with greater incidence in the districts of the southern region, with emphasis on Balama and Namuno.
