Forty projects for income generation and self-employment creation were approved by the Government in a credit line of more than nine million Meticais managed by the Commercial and Investment Bank (BCI), aimed at financing youth entrepreneurship in the districts of Quelimane, Mocuba, Guruè, Morrumbala and Alto Molócuè.

The amounts allocated vary between 180 and 250 thousand Meticals and are already in the bank accounts of the proponents of the projects. Last Thursday, the respective checks were delivered in a public ceremony in one of the neighborhoods of Mocuba city, central Zambézia province.

The delivery was made by the Secretary of State for Youth and Employment, Osvaldo Petersburg, who appealed to the young beneficiaries for the need to strictly fulfill the repayment plans so that more young people can have access to the credit.

On the occasion, the governor recommended the beneficiaries to be a reference of management of projects funded in the context of the Support Fund for Youth Initiatives at the level of Zambezia province, in particular, and the country in general.
