More than 20 million meticais have been invested this year in Zambezia to boost tourism activities in the province.

The data were shared by the provincial director of Culture and Tourism in Zambezia, Ali Aboobacar, as part of the celebrations this Tuesday, September 27, of the World Tourism Day.

Ali Aboobacar says that last year, operators in the Hospitality and Tourism industry in Zambezia province invested more than nine million meticais.

Zambezia province has more than 712 hotel and tourism sites and two thousand beds.
