Venâncio Mondlane pede paneladas, buzinadas e vuvuzelas… “barulho em todo o país”

Today the country is experiencing the third day (of three) of the fourth phase of demonstrations against the election results and, to close the cycle, the presidential candidate, Venâncio Mondlane, has suggested to his supporters and followers in Mozambique to cause noise throughout the country.

As he went on, people should grab anything that can echo, such as pots and pans, car horns, vuvuzelas, whistles, irons and so on, to protest against electoral fraud.

These types of demonstrations were seen in some parts of Maputo city, where city dwellers grabbed their pots and pans to show their disapproval of the police action in the face of the protests.

He said, in a live broadcast, that this demonstration should take place between 9pm and 10pm.

On the other hand, he stressed that this is a sovereign opportunity for Mozambicans to change the current political situation.

He said that the fourth phase has three more stages of demonstrations in store. However, "the demonstrations will not stop until the electoral truth is restored".
