Venâncio, candidate for the presidency of the Republic for the Podemos party, has just called on the Mozambican people to take to the streets to defend the election results and democracy in Mozambique.

In a live broadcast this morning (October 10), Mondlane said that at national level he has a guaranteed vote of 75% so far.

"This means that we are having a resounding, overwhelming victory that is unprecedented in Mozambique," said the presidential candidate.

However, he stressed the importance of a national mobilization to prevent attempts to manipulate and alter the results already achieved by the PODEMOS party.

Venâncio Mondlane urged young people and all Mozambicans to defend democracy, national sovereignty and the future of Mozambique by taking to the streets and watching the ballot boxes until victory is officially declared.
