An official publication confirmed by Mark Zuckerberg reveals that WhatsApp will allow you to have two accounts connected at the same time, a feature that has long been requested by many users.
Mark Zuckerberg has announced that it will be possible to have two WhatsApp accounts connected at the same time, in a feature to be officially launched over the next few weeks. Users who had both personal and professional accounts, for example, are among the people who will be able to take advantage of this new feature, without having to log off, carry two phones or worry about the possibility of typing messages on the wrong account.
Android users will be able to count on this 'official' way of having two accounts from the coming weeks and months. To set up the second account, all you need is a second phone number and a SIM card or a phone that accepts multiple SIMs or eSIMs. "Simply open the WhatsApp settings, click on the arrow next to your name and then on 'Add Account'," the press release reads.
Meta's communication reminds us of the importance of only using the official WhatsApp application and not downloading imitations or fake versions in order to have more cell phone accounts, reminding us that "user messages are only secure and private when the user uses the official WhatsApp application".
