União Desportivo do Songo wins 1-0 against AS Otôho from Congo in the fight for access to the group stage of the African Champions League

The União Desportiva do Songo (UDS) received and won by one ball without reply the AS Otôho of Congo. This was a first-leg match in the pre-elimination round for access to the group stage of the African Champions League.

The game took place last weekend at Estadio Nacional do Zimpeto, without the presence of the public due to rules imposed by Covid 19. 

After a scoreless first half, UDS enters the second half better and pressing. In the 81st minute Lau King of UDS scores a goal! 

With this victory, the Mozambican team will enter the second leg with a minimum advantage, in Brazzaville, Congo, on the 18th of the current month.

If they qualify for the first and penultimate knockout round, the Mozambican team will play the winner of the match between Petro de Luanda (Angola) and Fovu de Baham (Cameroon).
