The Government foresees for next October the payment of salaries to the remaining civil servants based on the new Single Wage Scale (TSU). The same will be done retroactively.
The information was advanced on Monday by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Max Tonela, after the signing with the World Bank of the agreement for direct financing to the state budget.
"After the exercise that has been done by the teams from the ministries of Economy and Finance and State Administration and Civil Service, it can be assured that the process is at an advanced stage of refinement of the framework criteria," said the governor.
"We hope this week to conclude discussions with the various existing professional groups, professional associations, teachers, doctors and others to hear their concerns and after this process is completed, very soon, we hope to get a proposal for a timely revision of the law for consideration by the Council of Ministers before the end of this month," the minister said.
Our expectation is that this can occur during the month of September, so that in October, the State can pay all employees, according to the Single Wage Table, with the retroactive amounts that are due, starting in July," he assured.
