The Zambezia Provincial Court sentenced an army officer from the navy branch to 18 years in prison for trafficking drugs seized in Macuse, Namacurra district.

According to the RM, this is Lucas João. Indeed, the judge says that it has been proven that the two kilograms of methamphetamine were found on the boat belonging to Lucas João.

In the same judgment, read out this Thursday, the court acquitted Abudala Molde, a teacher at Bonifácio Gruveta Secondary School in Macuse, on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
