Textáfrica do Chimoio files an appeal against its dismissal from Moçambola

Textáfrica do Chimoio interpõe recurso que dita o seu afastamento do Moçambola

After having its license withdrawn, preventing it from taking part in Moçambola-2024, Grupo Desportivo Recreativo Textáfrica do Chimoio appealed to the Appeals Body of the Club Licensing Commission.

A publication by Challenge newspaper says that the initial decision of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) was based on the non-payment of debts to players and coaches, however, the "fabris" claim to have resolved the issues.

However, according to the same publication, while the appeal is being analyzed, the players are still not training, protesting the non-payment of wages, which could lead to the cancellation of the next game against Costa do Sol, scheduled for Saturday.

In addition, coach João Chissano has resigned due to a lack of conditions and his assistant, Soares Victor Soares, may also leave the first national champion.

It should be remembered that this Monday, the FMF removed Textáfrica do Chimoio from Moçambola-2024 for failing to meet the criteria required by the Licensing Commission, withdrawing the license from the Chimoio Plateau "factories".

The Licensing Committee informed the Grupo Desportivo Recreativo Textáfrica do Chimoio that it had become aware through the media of its debts to its players in terms of salaries and allowances for a period of four months. It was therefore decided that the club should present evidence of the discharge of any debts within 5 days, failing which the facts published by the media would be proven.
