Terrorism in Cabo Delgado worries Mozambicans living in Belgium

Mozambicans living in Belgium say they follow with concern the situation of the terrorist attacks in Cabo Delgado province.

In an interview with Radio Mozambique, this Saturday in Brussels, one of the representatives of the Association of Mozambicans in Belgium (AMOBEL), said that the violent extremism that is experienced in the northern part of our country has negative repercussions, in terms of investments.

However, Samuel Andrisse said he noted with satisfaction how the Mozambican authorities are managing the issue.

Another concern of our compatriots in the diaspora has to do with civil identification documents, when they are lost or expire; to renew them is a real challenge.

Official data indicate that a little more than 300 Mozambicans live in the three low countries, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg, of which more than a hundred live and work in different branches of activity in Brussels, the Belgian capital.
