Terrorism in Cabo Delgado province and the covid-19 pandemic have conditioned the implementation of the activities of the intersectoral committee to support the development of adolescents and youth planned for last year.

Of the 121 planned activities, the committee was able to put in place only seventy, due to financial barriers.

The Secretary of State for Youth and Employment, Osvaldo Petersburg, said this as he left the meeting of the intersectoral committee for supporting the development of adolescents and youth, headed by Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho Do Rosário.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister reiterated the government's commitment to prioritize issues aimed at supporting youth development.
