Sumol + Compal will support the first day of the sports calendar, of the skater Donaldo Salvador, in the National Unity marathon. A race where the skater will cover the whole country, a distance of over 3000 km from North to South of Mozambique, starting on May 1st, in the city of Pemba and will end on June 25th in Maputo.
According to the press release we had access to, Compal's support will be in some aspects, with emphasis on the supply of juices, essential for the skater's good performance on his route, where he will skate for several hours on the road.
"Compal juices in the flavors 'Rocha Pear', 'Banana', 'Multi Frutos' and 'Da Terra' will be fundamental to keep you with the necessary energy and the body well nourished in order to minimize fatigue along your journey," says the company's statement.
Bruno Felício, general manager of Sumol+Compal, in Mozambique, said that "more than giving our simple support to our skater, we want, above all, to promote the talent and the national production of winning sportsmen. We believe that Donaldo Salvador can be an example for other young people, that by transmitting his strength, courage and resilience can inspire other potential talents that exist in the country, to follow their dreams, in short, we want through a single story impact many others.
Donaldo Salvador has already covered 1640 km on wheels on the Quelimane-Maputo stretch, transmitting messages of hope and raising awareness about several diseases that worry Mozambicans. In this new challenge, which will start on May 1st in Cabo Delgado province and end in Ponta de Ouro, Maputo province, on June 25th, Salvador will run the marathon under the slogan "Peace and Unity", given the current situation that the country and the world have been going through.
It should be noted that in addition to the nutritional support throughout the planned route, Sumol + Compal will also provide uniforms for the entire staff team, as well as offering a pair of road skates.
