The National Migration Service (SENAMI) is going to set up mobile brigades to go to the most remote places in the country's districts to collect data and ensure that passports and visas are issued to those interested. The measure could even reach people at home.
The purpose of the plan is to make it easier for users, who can't always get care in the provincial capitals, according to SENAMI's Director General, Fulgêncio Seda.
Quoted by NewsHe explained that the fights will escalate to the districts frequently and when necessary.
"We've also been working with public and private institutions that ask us to issue travel documents for their employees. Another focus is on collecting data at home to assist people who are ill, bedridden or unable [to go to the Migration Services]," he said.
On the other hand, SENAMI's Director General calls on his colleagues to provide good customer service and to avoid committing illegal acts.
As for issuing passports and visas in the diaspora, SENAMI is setting up equipment in four diplomatic offices.
