"Agro-livestock sector is a vector for the recovery of the economy in the country" - Celso Correia

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development considers that the agro-livestock sector is the vector for the country's economic recovery in the coming years.

Celso Correia said that to leverage the agro-livestock production in the country, the government is investing more and more in human and material means.

It is in this plan that the government delivered, under the SUSTENTA project, this Wednesday, thirteen tractors with their respective implements and 102 motorcycles to an equal number of new extension workers in Maputo province.

"For the government, the transformation of the agro-livestock sector begins with the transfer and assistance to our producers, the transfer of knowledge, of new production techniques. Therefore, you extensionists are at the center of the transformation of the agro-livestock sector in Mozambique. Our success depends on your good performance and devotion", he said.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development was speaking this Wednesday, in Namaacha district, Maputo province, after inaugurating two pavilions for chicken production.
