Musician Arão Litsure's remains to be buried this Friday

Restos mortais do músico Arão Litsure vão a enterrar esta sexta-feira

The remains of musician, writer and reverend Arão Litsure, who died last Sunday (14.04), will be buried this Friday at Lhanguene Cemetery in Maputo City.

The event will be preceded by funeral ceremonies that will take place in three different stages, according to a note from the Mozambican Association of Authors (SOMAS).

First, at 8 a.m., the wake will be held at the Maputo City Hall. At 10 a.m., the ceremonies will continue at the United Congregational Church in Mozambique, located in the Malhangalene neighborhood, and finally, at 1 p.m., the burial will take place at the Lhanguene Cemetery in Maputo city.

Musician Arão Litsure lost his life to illness in South Africa, where he was hospitalized for a week. The artist was born in the Panda District of Inhambane. He graduated in Theology in Zimbabwe, was a pastor, released records and books and also chaired the CNE.

The artist left behind a wife and three children.
