The UK has announced plans to increase the number of electric car charging stations in the country by 2030, intending to reach a total of 300,000 stations, writes the news at the minute.
To do this, the British government is committing to spend a total of 1.6 billion pounds - the equivalent of 1.9 billion euros - on these charging stations, which will have fast filling stations and allow 'contactless' payments.
The plan was created in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels from abroad.
