A three-month-old baby girl was taken to a health unit today in tears after inhaling tear gas thrown by the Mozambique Republic Police (PRM).

The case took place in the Maxaquene neighborhood, in Maputo city, where residents continued the protests that began this morning. One person was injured after being hit by a tear gas bullet that was fired into the houses.

On the other hand, as a way of trying to persuade the demonstrators, the police flew a helicopter over and fired tear gas bullets into the houses. People even reported that the aircraft flew overhead.
