Another businessman was kidnapped this morning in the country's capital, Maputo, specifically at the Olympic Committee building in the Polana Cimento neighborhood.. The victim was kidnapped in Rua Mateus Sansão Muthemba, in the Museu area of Maputo city, as he was leaving the gym in the Olympic Committee building.

According to the video circulating on social media, the victim was surprised by four apparently young men who, within a few minutes, loaded him into a white car and, at high speed, carried him inside.

According to sources, the kidnapped businessman is one of the managers of Ford Automobile in Maputo.

Meanwhile, reacting to the incident, Interior Minister Paulo Chachine said that the "police are working to return the victim to his family".
