Last night, a group of unknown citizens kidnapped a shopkeeper of Indian origin, identified as Vinay Sohenji, in the town of Chókwè, Gaza province.

The crime took place a few meters away from a commercial establishment, when armed individuals in a car stopped him and fired shots.

Footage we have seen shows at least four other individuals, two of whom appear to be of Indian origin, the others being security guards.

During the action, the security officers did not fire any shots.

So far, the victim's whereabouts are unknown.
