The head of the polling station at Coalane Complete Primary School in the city of Quelimane has been promoted to district director of the State Administration Technical Secretariat (STAE) in Ile, Zambézia province.
The information can be found in Electoral Bulletin of the Center for Public Integrity, which recalls that this is the same individual who was filmed and assaulted for refusing to sign the school's notice board in the early hours of October 12.
That day, the Mozambique Republic Police fired shots in an attempt to dissuade those who wanted to see the edict signed. They also tried to prevent the images from being recorded. Click here here to watch the video.
