Prime Minister reaffirms tranquility in Cabo Delgado

The Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane reaffirmed that the country is stable and the public institutions function normally, despite some challenges in some districts of Cabo Delgado province, affected by terrorism.

"The situation in the country is stable, but we still face some challenges in Cabo Delgado," said the Prime Minister, for whom the gradual return of the populations and the resumption of public tranquility is evident, thanks to the intervention of the Defense and Security Forces of Mozambique together with their counterparts from the Southern African Development Community and Rwanda.

According to Domingo, Maleiane was speaking this morning in Parliament in response to the 15 questions posed by the three benches on the pulse of the socio-economic and political situation of the country in the Session of Questions to the Government.
