As of today, the Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, is taking part in the third Belt and Road international cooperation forum in China.

The event, which will run until the 23rd, will be held under the slogan "Cooperation of the High Quality Belt and Road: Together for Common Development and Prosperity".

According to Rádio Moçambique, the third Belt and Road Forum is an initiative of the Chinese government aimed at building international cooperation infrastructures, especially roads, bridges, railways and ports linking Asia, Africa and America.

The source says that one hundred and fifty countries and thirty international organizations have already signed more than two hundred cooperation agreements to boost socio-economic growth.

It should be noted that in recent years China has been cooperating with Mozambique in the construction of various infrastructures, including bridges, roads and airports.
