The President of the Republic guarantees, as soon as possible, the intermediate solution to make the connection between the cities of Tete and Moatize, through the bridge over the Revubue river, damaged by the tropical storm Ana, last January.

Filipe Nyusi said that he has already given directions to find an alternative to minimize the problem of circulation of people and goods, while a definitive solution is sought.

The head of state stressed that it is the government's goal to solve the problem once and for all.

Filipe Nyusi uttered these words, on the bridge over the Revubue river, last Friday, after checking the part damaged by the fury of tropical storm Ana, late last January.

The flooding of the Revubuè River has invaded and destroyed many homes, displacing thousands of people.
