The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, is participating today, in Maputo, in the International Financiers Conference whose objective is to mobilize investments for the supply of water to urban areas in the next 10 years.

The Investment Program is budgeted at about $1.8 billion for water supply infrastructure to serve more than 4 million people.

According to the presidency's statement, the program will take into consideration the need for infrastructure that is resilient to climate change, which has been negatively and progressively and cyclically affecting the country's water service needs.
