The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, today, Friday (12), in the town of Luelele, administrative post of Mandimba-Sede, Niassa province, presided over the Central Ceremony to launch the Agricultural Marketing Campaign-2024.
The event, which will be replicated throughout the country, aims to encourage producers and those involved in agricultural marketing to start the process and to publicize the actions of economic agents in the value chain for the sale of agricultural products.
For the current agricultural marketing year, the country expects to buy around 20 million tons of various products, compared to 17 million in the previous year.
Vera Godinho, the National Director of Internal Trade at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, points to cereals, legumes and tubers, among others, as the products that will be most sold by the more than 7,000 people involved in the campaign.
