Mozambique will cooperate with France in the area of maritime safety, announced the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi.
Speaking at a press conference, which served to balance the participation of our country in the sixth European Union-African Union summit, which ended this Friday in the Belgian capital, Brussels, Filipe Nyusi said that for this purpose, an agreement between the two governments will be initialed soon.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Mozambican Head of State had a meeting with Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, to refine details on the subject.
Filipe Nyusi said that Mozambique has managed to mobilize support for Rwanda and the SADC countries, Southern African Development Community, to help fight terrorism in our country.
Moreover, Filipe Nyusi evaluates positively the participation of Mozambique in the sixth European Union-African Union summit, which was attended by seventy heads of state or government of the two continents.
The Mozambican Head of State left Brussels, this Saturday.
