Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer recorded a net loss attributable to shareholders of 86.6 million euros in the first half of the year, half (49%) of the loss attributable to the same period in 2022.
In a half-year report released to the market on Monday, Embraer described its debt management efforts, increased revenue and growth in the executive aviation segments as successful, especially in the second quarter.
Regarding the adjusted net loss, the amount due after calculating its expenses, the company indicated that it was around 101 million euros, 59.1% less than the amount reported between January and June last year.
Regarding operating results, the Brazilian manufacturer, quoted by Lusa, reported that operating profit, calculated as EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) in the first half of the year, was around 143.6 million euros, which means an increase of 16.6% compared to 2022.
Between April and June, the company ended with a loss attributable to shareholders of 17.6 million euros, compared to a loss of 137 million euros in the second quarter of last year.
