The President of the Republic has ordered the creation of the Interministerial Commission for Territorial Planning, abbreviated to CIOT, subordinate to the Council of Ministers, writes Rádio Mocambique.

The CIOT is a consultative and coordinating body, between different ministries, to promote the organization and monitoring of processes and decisions relating to territorial development and its transformation.
