The ambassadors of Portugal, António Costa Moura, and Egypt, Mohamad Farghat, encouraged Mozambique to continue its efforts to achieve stability in the country.
The ambassadors' position was expressed today during a meeting they held with Economy Minister Carla Louveira.
Moura also expressed concern about the wave of vandalism and business closures during the post-election protests.
Louveira announced that the government is working to restore trust with the population by adopting robust reform measures in all areas of governance.
On the other hand, the ambassador, who met with Frelimo this week, reiterated Portugal's willingness to cooperate with Mozambique in different areas.
In a separate meeting, the Egyptian ambassador expressed his willingness to cooperate with Mozambique in the agriculture and fishing sector, with the aim of massively increasing food security and family income.
