Insecurity persists in some parts of Cabo Delgado

Although the situation is relatively calm in Cabo Delgado province, there is still insecurity in some districts.

According to the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, who was speaking this Friday in Nampula, the terrorists are fleeing in search of refuge, but it is also still premature to assume that the province of Cabo Delgado is totally safe.

Speaking to the members of the Republic of Mozambique Police who, as of this Friday, will go into the field, Nyusi explained that their mission is the defense of the homeland, above all, people and goods.

"Your integration into these independent companies must be based on the readiness and tactical-military preparation that you received during your training, which enables you to engage in complex environments with the aim of bringing tangible solutions for the well-being of Mozambicans," said the President of the Republic.
