The President of the Republic, Fiilipe Nyusi, today exonerated the Minister of Economy and Finance and three other state figures, including a minister of advisors.

A statement from the Presidency of the Republic indicates that Nyusi has dismissed Adriano Afonso Maleiane from his post as Minister of Economy and Finance.

It should be remembered that Maleiane, the Prime Minister, took over the economy portfolio after Max Tonela stepped down.

In a separate presidential order, the Head of State dismissed Armindo Daniel Tiago as Minister of Health.

The same note states that Nyusi has dismissed Maria Benvinda Levi from the post of State Counsellor, and Arsénio Henriques Cossa from the post of Press Officer.
