The circulation of vehicles on the bridge over the Monapo River, in the district of the same name, in Nampula province, is restricted due to a landslide on both banks of the infrastructure.
According to a NewsIn addition, a team from the National Roads Administration (ANE) is on site carrying out small interventions to ensure that the fury of the waters does not sweep away the bridge that connects the coastal districts of the province.
Heavy vehicles pass over the bridge, but at the moment, traffic on National Road 12 (N12) is closed to all types of vehicles.
Nampula is one of the three provinces affected by Cyclone Jude in the country since last Sunday (09), causing heavy rains.
