Moza Banco patrocina digressão de Stewart Sukuma

The renowned Mozambican musician, Stewart Sukuma, will begin a tour of the country's main cities on November 12 in Pemba, accompanied by his band - Nkuvu.

Four cities: Pemba, Tete, Beira and Quelimane will host the singer and his band throughout November and December this year.

That's why the press conference launching the tour took place this Monday in Maputo. The tour, part of the celebrations of the artist's 40-year career, is sponsored by Moza Banco.

On the occasion, the artist told journalists that he remains faithful to the dream, authenticity and genuineness of those who begin an artistic career. It has always been for a dream, for various causes and above all for love of art that he has remained active in art and culture in general.

Sukuma also said that "it could have been easy to build a 40-year career in Europe or the United States. But I've always believed in our country".

Representing Moza Banco, José Macamo said that "as Stewart Sukuma's sponsors, and above all because we recognize the artist's commitment to spreading and exalting Mozambican culture through music, but also because of his tireless activism for causes of national interest, we are supporting this upcoming tour, which aims to pay tribute to the artist and bring Sukuma's sounds and rhythms closer to those who are the pillars of his musical career: the Mozambican public from Rovuma to Maputo".

Macamo added that, "we recognize in Stewart a figure with an indelible history and path in the national cultural scene, whose values that he has proclaimed and spread over the years, in the country and abroad, perfectly match the vision and positioning of Moza Banco, and it is no coincidence that Stewart is one of the faces of our Moza, acting as the Moza Brand Ambassador, in a partnership that has lasted for years.
