Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe join forces in wildlife conservation

Moçambique, Zâmbia e Zimbabué unem esforços na conservação de animais selvagens

The Presidents of Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe could soon sign a memorandum aimed at jointly conserving wildlife.

The information was given today by the Mozambican statesman, Filipe Nyusi, in the city of Lusaka, Zambia.

According to the President of the Republic, the idea behind the ZIMOZA project is to monitor and care for the various wild animals that frequently explore the border areas between the three countries.

"These animals are part of our wealth and often move to our three countries.
We have to take care of them. In a few days' time, we will conclude this agreement," said Filipe Nyusi, quoted by the Sunday newspaper.
