Mozambique will take on the rotating presidency of the Trade Union Community of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP) this year.
It is an organization that brings together nearly nine trade union associations from CPLP member states, with the aim of improving the working conditions of its members and of workers in general.
The secretary-general of the National Union of Bank Employees, Ramiro Simbe, ensures that Mozambique is prepared to assume the presidency of the CPLP organ, which is now in the hands of Cape Verde.
