Exports of non-factorial goods and services, especially minerals, fish and agricultural products, could allow the Mozambican state to earn more than $5.23 million next year.
This is the forecast of the Economic and Social Plan (PES) and the State Budget (OE), and if it comes true, the value will represent a growth of about 1,024 million dollars. The forecast reflects, above all, the increase in large projects, in more than 979 million dollars, thanks to the gradual recovery of external demand and commodity prices in the international market.
The forecasts of the Economic and Social Plan and the State Budget are also optimistic about the beginning of exports of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and condensate in the Rovuma basin and the resumption and increase of exports of minerals with great weight in the structure, namely heavy sands, mineral coal, ruby, natural gas, gold and graphite and positive factors described in the production component will contribute for exports to register a significant growth compared to the projections for 2021.
