The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) says that Mozambique is off the list of countries with hotbeds of food insecurity and hunger.
The FAO representative in Mozambique says that even with the destabilization in the north of the country, as well as the impacts of climate change, there are records of advances in agricultural production and productivity, if compared to other African countries.
Hernani da Silva, was speaking this Saturday in Nampula, in the district of Mogovolas, on the occasion of the World Food Day that is being celebrated today.
