Millennium bim was highlighted as one of the best financial institutions in Africa, and was recognized as the best bank for its performance in the Mozambican banking sector.

The excellence of service, capacity for innovation and financial robustness were determining factors for Millennium bim to win the prize "Best Bank of Mozambique 2022" awarded annually by the magazine Global Finance, considered an international reference in terms of financial market information and analysis of the banking sector.

The award's jury is made up of its international editors, who base their assessment on a panel of financial analysts, consultants and top managers from the banking sector. The evaluation criteria for the award are based on indicators of asset growth, profitability, geographical coverage, strategic relationships, new business development, innovation capacity, and introduction of new products and services. The award ceremony will be held in October in Washington DC during the annual meeting of the IMF and World Bank.
