The Portuguese Parliament authorized President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa's request to travel to Mozambique, between the 20th and 23rd of this month, announced this Thursday the Official Gazette.
The Head of State addressed a letter to the President of the Assembly of the Republic, in which he requested Parliament's authorization to travel to Mozambique on an official visit, at the invitation of his Mozambican counterpart, Filipe Nyusi.
This will be the third time that Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa visits Mozambique, as President of the Portuguese Republic, and it will happen during the campaign period for the early elections on January 30, starting already on January 16.
