Former Finance Minister Manuel Chang will be extradited to the United States, with some reports indicating that this would happen by Monday (10).
According to a publication by a member of the Center for Public Integrity (CIP), the plane that will transport Manuel Chang to American territory landed on Sunday (09) at Lanseria airport in South Africa. It is a US Department of Justice aircraft.
In the US, Manuel Chang has two options before the courts: he can agree to stand trial or plead guilty to the three crimes of which he is accused and, as a result, cooperate with the American justice system to clarify the contours of the charges.
