Jim Ratcliffe, the UK's richest man, is apparently on the verge of acquiring 25% of Manchester United's share capital for around 1.5 billion euros, and is already planning a 'sweep' of the first team squad.
According to information published this Friday by the British newspaper The SunThe manager's 'blacklist' includes Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Antony, players who together cost around 240 million euros.
The French international arrived at Old Trafford in the summer of 2015 from Monaco for 60 million euros. The Englishman was acquired from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for 85 million euros, and the Brazilian was the latest addition, coming from Ajax for 95 million euros.
Jim Ratcliffe isn't happy with what he's seen from this trio and believes it's time to leave the squad led by Dutchman Erik ten Hag when the transfer market reopens in January.
