More companies join the "Made in Mozambique" stamp in Nampula

Mais empresas aderem ao selo “Made in Mozambique” em Nampula

Two companies from different branches of activity received Friday the "Made in Mozambique" stamp, making 95, the number of entities that have already joined the "Mozambican pride" in Nampula province.

These are a fortified maize flour processing company, based in the provincial capital, and a project services company, based in Nacala-a-Velha.

The attribution of the seals, according to the Notícias newspaper, came in response to requests made by the two companies, after it was found that they observe all the requirements demanded in the regulations for the use of the trademark.

The Secretary of State in Nampula province, Mety Gondola, who led the seals awarding ceremony, said that it is the Government's expectation that the business community takes responsibility and makes its activities felt in the supply of goods and services.

The leader challenged the companies to improve more and more the quality of their products and services available in the market. He emphasized that the path to obtaining this recognition is a long one, which requires a lot of work, dedication, and care from the companies in order to meet the imposed requirements.

"There are a lot of teams following the evolution and the path of the companies. The demands are high. Here we witness a stage reached by these two firms, as part of the recognition of the quality that has been the hallmark of our companies," said Gondola, adding that with the award of the mark, the two firms become the mirror of society.

For his part, the representative of one of the companies considered the merit as a result of the trust deposited by the Government, and reaffirmed the commitment to increasingly improve the services provided and/or placed on the market.
