More than 400 Mozambican companies have joined UNIVAX - an initiative that brings together companies and civil society organizationsThis is complementary to the State's efforts in the ongoing vaccination process.

At the moment, only state entities are allowed to purchase vaccines, and the UNIVAX initiative arises to broaden the base of vaccination against COVID-19 in Mozambique, through a process of joint purchase of vaccines.

In addition to vaccinating workers and their dependents, the initiative includes a vaccine co-payment (at about 10% or more) in favor of the vulnerable Mozambican population.

The WHO predicts a 3rd wave of COVID-19, already happening in Europe, with younger ages increasingly infected, which can have a major impact on the workforce, the biggest asset of companies.
