The list with the names of Renamo's pre-candidates for deputies in the Assembly of the Republic features some names that have been in parliament in previous legislatures.

The list includes Saimone Macuiane, Julião Picardo, José Manteigas, Ivone Soares, António Muchanga, Arnaldo Chalaua and the youngest of the well-known names, Ivan Mazanga.

Meanwhile, other well-known names are being proposed by the party, such as Elias Dhlakama, Paulo Vahanle, André Magibiri, Ricardo Tomás and Ricardo Carvalho.

Raúl Dique and Olímpio Cambuma, former deputy chiefs of the General Staff, may be making their debuts as MPs. Family members of former Renamo leaders André Matsangaissa and Óscar Dhlakama.
